What the Chapter Does for Its Members
Three commitments drive everything the Idaho Chapter does: education that keeps members competitive, relationships that keep projects moving, and advancement of the electrical contracting industry across Idaho.
Three Commitments to Every Member
Chapter membership is built on a simple promise: give Idaho's signatory electrical contractors the training, the partnerships and the representation they need to run successful, professional businesses.

Training That Keeps Members Competitive
To provide educational opportunities for electrical contractors to help them remain profitable in an extremely competitive business.
Members tap NECA's national catalog of management courses, estimating and project-management credentials, safety programs and code updates — plus the joint apprenticeship programs run with Idaho's IBEW locals.

Effective, Harmonious Labor–Management Relations
To promote effective, and harmonious labor–management relations.
The chapter negotiates and administers the collective bargaining agreements that govern signatory work in Idaho, keeps current wage sheets in members' hands, and sits at the table with IBEW Locals 291 and 449 so crews stay on the job.

Representing Idaho's Electrical Contractors
To represent, promote, and advance the interests of its electrical contractor members.
From the Treasure Valley to the INL, the chapter speaks for signatory contractors with owners, general contractors, regulators and the public — and connects project teams with the members best suited to the work.
